       Pterodactyl is a reptile. Snakes, crocodiles, and lizards are also reptiles. They are cold blooded. It is smaller than Pteranadon. They both have wings so that they can fly like a bird. It also has legs so that it can walk. It eats fish, insects and other small animals. Some have teeth, and some don't. They all have died. That means they are extinct. Meteor showers killed them. Pterodactyl was a fossil after the extinction. People find fossils in the ground. Fossils show us what Pterodactyl looked like. Their fossils have been found all over the world.

What is a Raptor?

    Guess what I got for reading books this summer? I got raptor claws. What is a raptor you ask? I will tell you. A raptor is a dinosaur that eats meat and hunts for food in a pact. Some have feathers like Oviraptor and Velocirator. They are small. They are bipedal meaning they have two legs. Some fly and some don't. They are in the bird family. Eagles and falcons are raptors. Microraptor has wings. It is the smallest dinosaur. Their cousin is the T-Rex, my favorite dinosaur. You can find many books about raptors at the Algiers Library.

Oviraptor Book Review by Quintin Collins

Oviraptor lived millions of years ago. He ate lots of lizards and small animals. Oviraptor had feathers but he could not fly. He had a triangle shape on his head called a crest. He is shorter than an adult. He is as long as a couch. Oviraptor had a beak. The female laid eggs and kept them warm. She fed them with her mouth. He used his claws to fight other dinosaurs even Protoserotops. I liked this because Oviraptor is a raptor that has claws that looks like a raptor mixed with a bird, 

Woo  Zen,A Cinderella Story was all about when Woo Zen want  to go at  the New Year feast.The stepmother   doesn't  want  Woo  Zen to go anywhere   at all.   Woo Zen   married the king in the end. I like this book.

This  book  was about  God.  God made the earth. He made Adam and Eve. Eve ate the fruit that God told them not to eat. Adam ate the fruit. God punished him. He had to sow the earth. I liked this story.

Diplodocus by Quintin Collins
2nd Grade
diplocus is a reptile  He had very large tail  Meat eating dinosarus  tried to eat him. He used his tail and  front legs to fight.  I like this book.

 

My Review

2nd  Grade

          This is about how dinosaurs go to sleep. The story asks if they play catch, if they stomp or roars when dad comes in. Then it asks if it sulks, get a back ride or cries when mom comes in. I liked the book because it rhymed and had nice pictures. I also like dinosaurs. My favorite dinosaur is T-Rex. I think that other children should read this book.

I liked the book because it was all about a family and good things they did. I liked the white pages.They were easy to turn.
